I’ll be honest, this track attracted me exactly because of this contrast. And those pretty weird vocal harmonies and melodies. I don’t know if it’s by design, or it’s just slightly out of the key…in any case, I totally love the result. It sounds like some kind of tape / psychedelic effect. In tune and out of tune at the same time. Very sweet thing and definitely a secret weapon of this track.
The beat and flow are also pretty nice. I like the way the song does its work with my brain. It’s very soft and catchy/listenable on one side, and totally weird on the other one. In this case, this mix is in a perfect balance, so you will not be annoyed because of total weirdness, but that little percentage of weirdness will not give you a chance to be bored for sure.
