Hi, folks! I am here again, and it means that it’s time for fresh music 🙂 This time Here is the song called “Suas”, by the musician from Dublin, Ireland — Sour Blood. Let’s dive into it!
The overall style, vibe, and atmosphere of the song remind me of Radiohead (which is not bad at all…because I love their music). It sounds like a slow movement in the beginning but reminds me of a water swirl that pulls me into the fast water of the river at the end. Wonderful vocal manner. It sounds honest to me. I mean, a lot of modern world songs sound like they were performed by the robots…but this one sounds natural to me.
The overall arrangement of the song is very detailed and saturated. I really dig the way the song builds up over time. I also like that the mix is not perfectly clear and clean. It has some light noises and warm distortion. My ears say “thank you”.
The song’s abstract lyrics add an element of mystery, inviting listeners to interpret and connect with the music on a personal level.
“Suas” showcases Sour Blood’s ability to blend haunting electronic elements with indie sensibilities, creating a sound that is both fresh and evocative. The repetition of “SeasaigĂ Suas” within the track feels almost like a mantra, enhancing the song’s meditative quality.
A bit more info about the track (by the artist):
Suas is a symphonic swell of nocturnal balladry that drifts eloquently across glacial fronts of rich orchestration and introspective grandeur. In a remarkable feat of both musical composition and sound design, Suas is a fascinating broadcast of songwriting wonder which repeatedly unveils the complex sonic beauty within.
Traditionally, I am happy to be able to share new music with all of you 🙂 Enjoy the music and stand with Ukraine! Peace <3
Lyrics:
Mastered by Phoned to say Standing by Passers by Steer ships You are always you in your dreams Master these ruins SeasaigĂ Suas SeasaigĂ Suas SeasaigĂ Suas SeasaigĂ Suas
