Hey guys! For s very long time I dreamed about this release, and finally, it’s here! I am happy to represent to you “Lullabies” EP, by me aka 58918012 and Evgenia Kartushova aka Marfa. Let’s check it!
The “Lullabies” EP is my tribute to Ukrainian culture in general and ethnic music in particular. I’ve always loved lullabies. Probably, we all love lullabies, but can’t even figure it out. A lullaby is one of the first ways of communication of mother with her child. In my opinion, it’s a very important thing in human life, and it leaves a footprint in his subconscious.
These three wonderful lullabies were performed by my friend, psychologist Evgenia Kartushova aka Marfa. One of the tracks (Нічка іде), was one of the first songs my mom sang me in my deep childhood. Two others are from Evgenia’s collection. I hope you will catch the mood and vibe of the music, even though most of you don’t know Ukrainian.
