Hey guys! As you all probably know, I am a bit fan of metal music…also, I like dark and aggressive music in general. Today here is a wonderful example of what I like in hip-hop music. Here is Zulus — a hip-hop duo from Denver, US, and their track “FASHOLIE”. Let’s dive right in!
First of all, as you can hear, the track is pretty dark. It has those phonk vibes for sure. That growly 808 just beating out the shit of my head! The beat itself sounds amazing to me. I am ready to listen to it on repeat, just because of that vibe and very nice samples and detailed arrangement.
Just a fun fact. You know what? On the post-soviet space, people may listen to hip-hop music in English even without understanding lyrics…they just catch the overall vibe of the track. Meanwhile, for instance, in the US, people will not listen to hip-hop with Ukrainian lyrics, even if the track sounds great. Just because they will not understand the meaning.
The flow works with the beat perfectly and even more draws into the trap (you got it, right? It’s a wordplay from the metalhead here) of this track. Really, guys, this track is just amazing! I can’t even stop listening to it! Anyways, the track is wonderful, and I hope you feel it! Enjoy <3
