Hi, friends! I’m back with some fresh stuff for your ears and brains 🙂 Today here is MIDRIB — electronic music producer from London, UK, and the track “Simple life” off the EP called “In The Piss”. Let’s check it together!
The track’s opening part already tells us, that it’s going to be something special. I hear a lot of influences there. The pulsation and overall mood of the track slightly remind me of Thom Yorke’s solo works. But it’s a bit more “harsh” and “heavy” (if I can use these words in this case).
Short vocal chops perfectly work with the rest of the arrangement. They’re adding some kind of mystery to the whole composition. It’s like techno, jungle, left field house, breakbeat, glitch, garage, ambient, and something else merged into one musical mix. Solid work. I am a fan now.
Actually, the whole EP is wonderful! I’ve listened to it a few times already. Strongly recommend to you do the same. Enjoy the music and stand with Ukraine! Peace <3
