Hello, guys! I’ve had a dream today. I was in the middle of the endless snow-covered field and trying to move, but I didn’t. I don’t believe in prophetic dreams, but this one was incredibly realistic… I literally felt that cold snow and my weakness in the face of nature.
Today’s track for some strange reason sounds like a soundtrack for a still picture from my night dream. I feel some cold vibes in this tune. Here is the track by Ievgeniy Kozlov & Kristie Pie — DJs and musicians from my home town Ivano-Frankivsk, and their track “Hating Us”. Let’s check it!
As I said before, the track sounds pretty cold (only in a good way for sure). The straight kick drum nicely emphasizing that gray and slightly depressive melody. I really dig the mood and vibe of this composition. Their voices perfectly fit each other and provoking the feeling of light melancholy in my heart.
Stylistically, I clearly can hear the influences of trip-hop, downtempo, and even a bit of synth-pop from 90’s in the arrangement. All these tags well mixed and packed into the soft deep house / electronic track. I think this track will be a perfect choice for a rainy lonely day. Hope you enjoy it <3
