Hey-hey! How are you doing? Hope everything is fine 🙂 Sometimes I have that feeling like I am not enough dipped into the music. It happens when I really love what I hear. In that case, I want to absorb the sound with every single cell of my body, and every neuron of my brain. Today is one of those cases. And the track is really wonderful. Today here is Atto Seguente — experimental / electronic music artist from Benevento, Italy, and his fresh song “Open”. Let’s check it!
The track opens with the beat in 4/4, but it’s kinda turned inside out and creates the feeling of an odd meter in the track. The arrangement and harmony are not very sophisticated, mostly moving around the root, but it’s working perfectly for that meditative atmosphere. The voice is a bit drowned with the synths and blurred with reverb/delay, which helps to keep that amazing atmosphere. Actually, I think that this song was born from improvisation. I may be wrong, but the structure is pretty unusual and really interesting to explore, so that’s my suggestion. Strong work.
I will definitely keep eye on this artist, and hopefully, he will not let me down with his next releases. Enjoy the music, my friends. Peace <3
