Well, what can I say? The song is wonderful to me! I am in love with the dark, melodic, and even slightly depressive atmosphere of the track. I can clearly hear some post-metal and post-rock influences in this track. Probably because of these melodic guitar parts. Obviously, the vocal manner and the overall arrangement of the track are far from post-rock…but I feel some vibes.

I am listening to this song on repeat while writing this, and I’d like to say that I am still not bored with it at all. I just get some kind of “black metal meditation” so to say. The furious blast beat sounds not that furious with those atmospheric guitar lines on top of it. Which is not bad at all. I just noticed it. Hello, friends. Probably, it’s because of the situation in Ukraine and my overall inner vibe…but in the last month, I prefer to listen to something even darker than I usually listen to. So today here is one more dark and heavy song. This time here is Extravaganza — depressive post-black metal band from Lithuania, and their fresh song “Barocco”. Let’s check it!

The very first thing that I like about this song — is the lyrics in Lithuanian. It sounds incredibly dark. Perfectly fits the overall black metal atmosphere of the track. I also translated the text…and it’s also so depressive. Also, those sounds of preparing to sing at the beginning of the song… Like it.

Actually, I like every detail in this track. Everything sounds wonderful. Melodic elements floating on the dark metal waves. From the drums to the vocal manner. The overall mood and vibe of the song literally bring me to another world.
