One more amazing song by Zane Coppard
Artist about the track:
This song was inspired by reading the word “ambit” on a pole I was locking my bike to. Someone had cut out that word from the dictionary and taped it to the pole. Ambit means, the scope, extent, or bounds of something. Often my root goal in music is to open the perspective of the listener up to something that helps them make a little more sense of the situation they’re in, and perhaps feel a little less alone. When you are so hyper-focused on the immediate stresses of your life it can be hard to remember the ambit of your life. The song is a celebration of someones ability to see the scope/extent of life.
LYRICS:
Ambit dismiss your courage Face shows a frown From your lips I thought I’d seen you smile What makes changes the hardest thing to bare Why can’t we take care of each other? Blue gold and white were always there Unlock your door to those colours No more broken mirrors We all share a face It’s a pirates ship A ghost town no one cares about I’ve been waiting at the gate I’ve been looking for reasons why I’ve been looking for what makes changes the hardest thing to bare Why can’t we take care of each other?
