Soft folk song by Tyler Bernhardt.
Artist about the track:
I wrote this song a long time ago and used to play it out all the time with a good friend that I lived with in NYC for a decade. Down the line, I ended up proposing to my girlfriend and planned to move out of the apt that I shared with him in NYC. It was a growing point for both of us and when he heard this news he was ecstatic, but also began thinking about his own life decisions and decided that it was time for him to make the move back to his home country of Norway. It was bittersweet (My friend/bestman is moving away, I am getting married to the love of my life). All this being said, he had always wanted to record this song (places to go), but it never happend! So I decided that before he leaves, we had to get it done and included it on this EP that shares another song I wrote for my wife as a part of my vows. The two blended together beautifully! I hope you enjoy 🙂
LYRICS:
I’ve found myself Here I am Young and overconfident Holding the world in my hand If I were to lie Would that make me a bad man I’ve learned that depends on what it’s applied to in the end I’ve got places to go Where dreams becomes real Life can be positive Something to show for Enough about me I’ll try to start Sentences without I in front of the subject at heart Thank you kindly For offering advice It helped me figure the story I live by in life I’ve got places to go Where dreams becomes real Life can be positive Something to show for
