Samuel Nicholson – Andy

Pretty calm and sweet song by Samuel Nicholson

Artist about the track:

The song was written during the recording of my new album, Missing Persons Report, and explores my own social dysfunction and isolation from those who are close to me. It’s the second single from the new record and a moment of quiet amongst what are primarily indie rock/more dynamic songs.

LYRICS:

I wish I were
wish I were wish I were
wish I were underwater
Because patience it can
patience it can
patience it can melt on my finger
You have fun on your own
you have fun
you have fun on your own
Sitting back and wrestling and sparring with your hidden trigger
And you steal my eyes away
But your own reality stays
Well Andy
You tease me again
I wish I was
wish I was
wish I was
wish I was without favour
cause favour it can
favour it can
favour it can tell you know better
I make love on my own
I make love
I make love on my own
Pretty people playing are precious and I’m too rosy to realise
But once
I had it all figured out
If you take your lies away
There’d be nothing left to say
Oh Andy
You tease me
Again and again and again and again and again
Again and again and again and again and again
Not again
Not again
Not again
Not again
Not again
Never again
Never again
Never again
Never again
Never again
