Francis Blume - Into Summer (artwork faeton music)

Francis Blume – Into Summer

Sad and soft folk composition by Francis Blume

Artist about the track:

A song about the frustrations of navigating through our current time. It’s not despairing, but it doesn’t give false hope either. Just an acknowledgement of the emotions that I’m sure A LOT of people are feeling. Recorded at my house in quarantine, and the artwork was done with a polaroid camera and an app on my phone. Hope you enjoy!

LYRICS:

Put yourself out on the line
Have I given this thing enough time
Should I go through or is it still too fresh a wound
Dear God, just tell me what to do
Cuz it feels like I'm running in place
Or floating somewhere in outer space
Nothing seems right, but it ain't as bad as it could be
It just feels like this ain't how it should be
What will they think of me now
I'm sure I'll piss someone off somehow
Damned if you do and damned if you don't
Oh, when will I learn to let go
Cuz it feels like I'm running in place
Or floating somewhere in outer space
Nothing seems right, but it ain't as bad as it could be
It just feels like this ain't how it should be
There's nothing left to say
People do as they do either way
So I'll hold out my hand and let them read between the lines
Oh, that'll do just fine
Cuz it feels like I'm running in place
Or floating somewhere in outer space
Nothing seems right, but it ain't as bad as it could be
It just feels like this ain't how it should be
It just feels like this ain't how it should be
It just feels like this ain't how it should be
