Tomo — acoustic / folk music artist from Bristol, UK.

Biography:

Tomo is an indie/folk singer-songwriter, based in Bristol, UK. Taking inspiration from a wide range of influences, including Radical Face, Shane Macgowan, Leonard Cohen and Charles Bukowski, he has recently released his debut EP, 'Wayward Son'. His music has been played on radio stations across the country, including on BBC Somerset and BBC Radio Bristol, and his debut single 'Enough to Drink' was supported by Tom Rosenthal and Atwood Magazine, among others. Lyrical content is particularly important to Tomo, and he combines powerful, literary lyricism with emotive musicality to produce an act which has been described as very engaging and atmospheric.

Atwood Magazine have held Tomo in high esteem, praising his "raw and poetic" approach to songwriting and his production of tracks which are both "stunning" and "heartfelt". With a recent appearance at the online HowTheLightGetsIn Festival and a number of releases lined up for the coming months, 2020 is set to be an increasingly exciting year for Tomo.
