Temple Haze

Temple Haze — indie / electronic music artist from Berlin, Germany.

Biography

Temple Haze's music is an ever-evolving and ever-changing tapestry. From his roots in blues and alt-country music to modern downbeat, ambient and lo-fi, he combines both pop and abstract songwriting in his unique world of production. So what can listeners then expect? An eclectic and delectable sonic mixture of indie soul, groovy beats, a unique singer-songwriter aesthetic and an emotive passion that shines throughout.

Temple started his journey into music on the road, hitchhiking around the world, working on organic farms, living an 'off-the-grid' lifestyle, busking in the streets and finding his way through life as a vagabond. After nearly four years on the road, he settled in Berlin, manoeuvring his way around the vibrant artistic community in the city.

Since then, the Washington, D.C native has been making waves in Berlin’s underground music scene. A man of many facets, he is known for his collaborations as a singer and co-composer of the band BAKERY, featured vocalist with OLIVER KOLETZKI and SAM SHURE, and collaborating with producers like NAROU and LO. Temple’s live repertoire includes intimate solo acoustic shows, full band shows, downbeat live sets, mystical DJ sets, and ambient soundscapes.

Over the years, Temple has played at over 200 shows around the world as a solo act, but also as a support act for Crystal Fighters (with Bakery) and Rising Appalachia (Solo).

He also dives deep into sound design, brainwave entrainment frequencies, and ancient mantras, convening music and spirituality together in a unique fashion. As co-founder and musical director of the Soneiro Collective, he holds space for sound journeys and vocal workshops portraying the best of his universal knowledge and empathic feeling for music.
