Naoko

Naoko — experimental / electronic music project from Trondheim, Norway.

Biography:

Coming from songwriter and producer backgrounds, Naoko was born out of a desire to merge haunting, electronic avant garde with soaring RnB hooks. Having already made a name for themselves with cuts for both Norwegian heavyweights like Emilie Nicolas and Bendik as well as K-pop mega-stars Girls Generation and Twice, in Naoko Norwegians Charite Viken and Erlend Elvesveen creates dark, explosive and highly emotive soundscapes.

Naoko is named after the beautiful and somber character from Murakami’s book Norwegian Wood.
