Showrocka & MICKEY FACTZ – Fear of God Joggers (2026)

Hi again 🙂 One more post is a good sign for sure. Just so you know, I am a big fan of old-school rap music, so this track is hooked me very much with its boom bap beat, flow, and vibe. Here is the song “Fear of God Joggers” by Showrocka & MICKEY FACTZ. Let’s check it out!

First of all, as I said before, well-produced and performed old-school rap is my weakness. This one stole my heart from the very first seconds I’ve heard it. I clearly understand that this kind of rap in the modern world is not about money/cheap fame/hype…it’s about legacy and respect to the culture (I hope so). I am happy to hear that rappers still make it.

The beat with that flute sample is pretty hypnotic and makes my head nod back and forth. Verses are perfectly performed. I truly believe in what these MCs say here. Honestly, I have no idea what more I can say about it… It’s just a solid rap stuff. Love it.

A bit more info about the release and the artist in his words:

Showrocka is an emerging emcee representing New Haven, Connecticut who has been rapping for over two decades. With a heavy emphasis on complex bars and hardcore boom bap beats he has cemented his place in the modern Hiphop landscape. Recently having appeared on high profile rap platforms Bars on I-95 and Shade45’s Punchline Academy Showrocka is a master at his craft. He has proven this by graduating as the first ever Hip Hop Valedictorian of Pendullum ink, Mickey Factz & Chilla Jones’ school for advanced lyricism, where he now serves an an assistant professor of Rap Theory.

Fear of God Joggers 2 is a high energy track with bounce allowing both lyricists to put braggadocio at the forefront. This song is about dressing fly, living good and letting people know.

Traditionally, thank you all very much for your attention! Enjoy the music and stand with Ukraine! Peace <3
