Solbore – To Be Free (2026)

Hello, everyone! As usual, after a pretty big gap between posts, I am here again, with the fresh music for your ears and brains. Today, here is the track called “To Be Free”, from Solbore, a musician from Brighton, UK. Let’s dive right in!

From the very beginning of the track, it feels like something warm and slightly dusty. I mean, the track obviously sounds great, but I think the production process was a bit “lofi” on purpose. To bring that light underground feeling to the mix. The drums definitely are the base of the track. They are running it forward and providing the energy needed to wave your head with the rhythm. Massive bass sounds like a huge and soft pillow for my ears. Lush synths, interesting harmonies, and as a final detail, a wonderful vocal part. Everything is working perfectly together. I love it!

I hear a mixture of genres in the composition, such as post-rock and indie electronica, maybe some trip-hop, probably there’s something else, but I can’t recognize it. In any case, the track sounds amazing to me. Hope you will like it as well.

Traditionally, thanks for listening! Enjoy the music and stand with Ukraine! Peace <3
