Hi guys! Long time no see 🙂 As usual, I am here with fresh interesting music for you. Today here is Blue John — alternative / indie music artist from Sheffield, UK, and his song “Everything Here Points Elsewhere”. Let’s check it out!
First of all, this song sounds like I heard it thousand times before. Exceptionally in a good meaning. I mean, from the very first seconds of the track it resonates with my heart and makes me feel comfortable. It’s like you met with your old friend. Even if you didn’t see him for 20 years, you still feel that warmth between you both.
What can I say… The song sounds soft, atmospheric, and deep. Very nice work on the arrangement. A lot of thisng changing during the time. A huge amount of details. Pleasant voice. I mean, it’s not the most powerful vocal manner in the world…but it works for the context better than any other may.
Summarizing. The song is very soft and pleasant to my ears. The overall mood of the song is in between the sadness and quiet indifference. I’ve listened to it around 10 times in a row on the walk, and it makes everything sounds me like in some movie. Interesting experince. Enjoy the music and stand with Ukraine! Peace <3

LYRICS
Settled dust on my window ledge Tail side of the coin laying face to the floor The city’s felt so pale since Like the space on my wrist where my watch strap fits It’s a strange thing honey A foot to the side And a sideways stare Everything here points elsewhere Took the long route home again Where summer’s blood trickles down the lane I’ve stopped racing the red lights Never get the keys through my door on the first try It’s a strange thing honey A foot to the side And a sideways stare Everything here points elsewhere A low sunk light All the shadows and their pairs Everything here points elsewhere
