Hi, friends! I am always trying to learn how to rest and relax but my brain has its own plans 🙂 Anyways, when I hear music like today’s track, the only thing I can think of is how to close my eyes and try to get rid of any thoughts in my head. Here is Kamil Kowalczyk — ambient music produced from Edinburgh, UK, and his track “Kompilator”. Let’s dive right in!
First of all, I’d like to say that I am a big fan of dark ambient / drone music. So, I have exclusively positive words about this composition. For some of you, it might be just a random annoying noise, but it’s a whole world for those who know how to listen to this kind of music, this stuff is a masterpiece.
The track begins with a deep and massive low sound with a bunch of reverb (I suppose). It’s not static. It’s slowly moving thru the brain, It’s kinda evolution of the sound. High, more tonal tones build up during the time as well. The atmosphere becomes more “space”. Yes, the track is pretty long, but it doesn’t mean that it’s boring or monotone (at least, in the world of ambient music). This wall of a drone sound changing and moving over time, as a huge alive organism.
If you will try to open your mind to it and listen to it from start to the very end, you will definitely want to do it again and again. Well, maybe I am too related to my own experience…but I can’t stop listening to it. Enjoy the music and stand with Ukraine! Peace <3
