Hi guys! 2022 flew over my head like a bullet. Incredibly difficult and dark year. Anyways, I am hoping that 2023 will fix everything. Stand with Ukraine! The first post in this year is the song called “Healing” by Umair Ali — indie / folk music artist from Pakistan/UAE. Let’s check it!
The very first thing that I noticed — was the singing manner and overall vibe of the song. It sounds nothing like the artist from UAE at all. Very calm, soft, and atmospheric mix of folk and indie music.
The second verse (sung by Aqdas Asif) also perfectly fits this fresh and soft atmosphere. Really, the song is crisp and transparent like the air of a winter morning.
Lyrically, the song is a bit darker than the musical mood/vibe. But I like sad music, so, it’s not a problem for me. I think that this is a solid work. Everything is balanced and perfectly arranged into the final product. Beautiful song to begin this year. Hope you like it. Enjoy the music <3
