Hi guys! A bit of music with an autumn vibe today. A few years ago in 2019 I already posted this band here (check out the link below the post). Here is Nossiennes — shoegaze / post-punk band from Bristol, UK, and their fresh tune “The Unfortunates” from the EP “Liminal”. Let’s check it!
I think, if autumn were music, then it was exactly this track. I am in love with this blurry / noisy atmospheric shoegaze vibe. The vocal literally dissolves somewhere between the instruments. What’s also interesting about this song is that the track is not really sad or depressive. Try to remove the “noise” from the mix and you will get a pretty sweet post-rock composition. On one hand, the song is kinda massive and noisy, but on the other, it’s transparent and light. I can’t even explain it…you just need to hear it by yourself.
