Good morning (or whatever on your side 🙂
I don’t know why, but I like strange and psychedelic music. And the interesting fact — Icelandic music almost always fits those criteria of weirdness and psychedelia. Today I want to share with you the amazing track “Beat 7”, by Siv Disa — trip-hop / electronic music artist from New York, US. Let’s check it!
Well, as you can see, the artist is from the US, but currently based in Reykjavik, Iceland. So, I can make a conclusion…I think that Iceland just affects musician brains this way (they starting to write psychedelic music). Honestly, I am a homebody…but Iceland is probably one country that I would like to visit in my life.
I can’t describe this track from a musical perspective. It’s just like signals from outer space coming in from the void. A monotone drum beat, and lots of synth sound on top of it. Vocal harmonies are amazing! That’s pretty all I can say about it. You just should listen to it by yourself to feel what I feel while listening to it. One more amazing musical opening for me. Enjoy <3
