Hello, my dear friends! My passion for experimental music is really huge. I may listen to many genres of music, from truly pop stuff to incredibly heavy music…but I always have some time to spend it on experimental music. Honestly, a lot of experimental music is just too “experimental” or even obviously shitty produced. But to get the diamond you need to dig some mud, right? Today here is one of those diamonds found out of the mud — Borpis — an experimental electronic music artist from New York, and his track “pressed on a garment”.
It’s kinda ambient / drone / ethnic / field recordings vibe. I don’t know why, but the main melody reminds me of the sound of the bagpipe, which strongly associated with one of my favorite bands Korn in my head. The wavy bassline creates a stable base for all other elements of the composition. Even the sounds of birds starting to sound in peculiar order with this background, and finally, build a whole composition with a lot of details and deep scene.
This track makes me feel peaceful for some reason. For some people, it may be a cacophony or just a bunch of sounds layered on top of each other. But my ears and brain enjoying this ordered chaos. Hope you like it as I do.
