Hey guys! Another day — another music 🙂 Today I am here to share with you a part of dark hip-hop vibe by Netherwxrld — a lo-fi hip-hop music project from Canterbury, United Kingdom, and their fresh track “Let It Burn (Lay Back)”. Let It Burn!
First of all, some strange things happened to me with this track. I don’t know how to describe it to you…but that was some mistique. It’s actually doesn’t matter at this point. It’s just adding to this track a bit more darkness.
I really dig those repetitive lines: “Lay Back. Let it burn, let it burn…”. It sounds like a dark matra. The low voice and slow flow also working perfectly in this mix. The beat itself has some trip-hop vibes. Also, it slightly reminds me of the song “Cameltosis” by Korn. And it’s definitely in a good way. I am a big fan of Korn.
I always say it, and will repeat one more time: “why the fuck people like autotuned plastic vocals in hip-hop music? Just check out this track and you will see, how natural voice working with the beat”. Yep, I totally understand that demand creates supply, but my brain just can’t accept all those autotuned new-school hits all over the charts. What more can I say? Nothing actually.
