Hello, music lovers 🙂 How y’all doing? I hope you’re looking for some heavy stuff today, otherwise, you better get away from here right now! I am not joking. Today is a day of post-metal on the Faeton Music Blog. For those who still here — let’s check it!
Since I play the guitar in a post-metal / progressive metal band, I am also a huge fan of the style. And it’s kinda hard to surprise me in this genre. But sometimes, I am opening some incredible bands, which touching me from the very first seconds. Today is one of those cases! Here is KOLLAPS\E — post-metal / sludge music band from Helsingborg, Sweden, and their song “Murrain”.
This track is like a hurricane! It swallows you, breaking your bones by its powerful riffs and incredibly angry vocal, and spitting you out. And the most strange thing — is that you want to repeat it one more time. Because the song has everything that I like in post-metal music. Dirty sounding guitars, distorted bass, the atmosphere of doomsday, and, sure thing — absolutely savage vocal manner. All parts of this post-metal puzzle are fit perfectly with each other.
