Good morning, music lovers 🙂 Today here is Jacob Ware aka Rapt — electronic / experimental music artist from Brighton, UK, and his track “I”. Let’s dive right in!
Some time ago I’ve already posted his music on my blog (check out the link below). And…honestly, this track is incredibly different. If previous was folk / acoustic, the this one is techno. Kinda radical style change. Even though on his Bandcamp page we can see a pretty wide genre selection “Folk/Shoegaze/Slowcore/Ambient/Electronic”, this certain track is definitely dub techno / ambient techno stuff.
To be honest, I have nothing to say about it overall. It’s an incredibly lush and atmospheric dub techno piece. It’s literally pulling me into the foggy pulsating space with its vibes. The straight kick drum just amplifies that feeling of pulsation.
It’s pretty hard to say something to describe this kind of music, really. It’s just a strong electronic track. No more, but not less. Enjoy <3
